” Homage to Bellagio”
Collection in homage to Bellagio, through the wooden furniture of Bar Rossi. In the past it was a tearoom, whose owner, in 1903, decided to furnish following the Art Nouveau style, taking inspiration from the fashion that was very popular in London in that period. He relied on the mastery of G. Galfetti e Figli, family of cabinet makers and wood carvers. The Galfettis made the decorations of Bar Rossi using the rose in its different phases, from the bud to the bloom, as a pattern. Probably, they referred to the Scottish architect Charles Rennie Mackintosh, leading exponent of the Art Nouveau in Great Britain.
