“Homage to Piero della Francesca”
Collection in homage to Piero della Francesca (about 1415 – 1492), inspired by the details of some of his works of art, that I have freely elaborated, such as Sigismondo incontra San Sigismondo and Pala di Montefeltro. Piero della Francesca, one of the greatest artists who characterized the Italian 15th century, was not only a painter, but he was also a theorist and a scholar in mathematical sciences and geometry. He stayed and worked at the main courts in the North-Center Italy (Ferrara, Rimini and Urbino), at Rome for the Popes and at Arezzo.
